NII is honored to welcome Professor Dominique Soldati-Favre, Department of Microbiology and Molecular Medicine at the UNIGE Faculty of Medicine, University of Geneva, as a speaker for its distinguished lecture series on 11 February 2025. Prof Dominique's lecture is titled: "Unique Biology, Unique Vulnerabilities: Mitochondrion and Apicoplast in Apicomplexa".

Prof Dominique is an internationally recognised specialist in the field of apicomplexan parasitology, her expertise focuses on the biology of parasites responsible for human and animal diseases such as malaria and toxoplasmosis.
